![]() ![]() But i dont feel like shes really adding a new experience to the game. Im just past the second act with the engineer now and shes allright. same for the elven rogue, a melle spec and ranged spec. and theme the armor around slayer for DPS and iron breaker for tank. Why not just have a Dwarf warrior, then have the choice to spec DPS or Tank. Even if the story they chose did lock the races choices to empire allies they still chose a really strange direction to go. After those bases are covered the only real new playstyle without hybridizing classes is a summoner class. Because it covers all the archetypical play styles. The holy trinity as i said has always been, a warrior class, a mage, and a rogue. Her turrets on the other hand are awefull. ![]() While the devs didn't nerf Vollen and Elessa there'll be no meta shift right now but overall the engi is pretty good to play with at least 2 interesting mechanics. She is darn slow compared to other classes but the dmg she is able to make is pretty nice and possibly without much testing the best bosskiller in the game by now. ![]() The engineer seems rather OP from all the % bonuses she gets. Originally posted by Irrelevant:Holy trinity in an arpg? Made me giggle ^^. But poor choices, a beautiful but really short expansion and now a poor follow up class makes a really dull game. Sorry devs, i wanted to wait until everything was released before i made a full judgement of the game. I'm gonna play her through the campaign and see if my opinion changes after a few more hours but the only feeling I get playing her is that id be better of with the slayer or mage. A rogue and mage.so what do they add.an engineer themed combat mage. we have two warrior classes in the base game, one DPS, one tank and spank. The standard RPG trinity is warrior, mage, rogue and then the addition of a summoner class. (bonus points for adding it for free though) We get this mess. Now, after waiting for a new class addition. with yet another chaos themed end times h. meaning we're stuck with the most vanilla races in the old world. The story essentially locks out a non-emipre allied faction for race selection. but on the other hand, it just feels so poorly thought out. On the one hand its true to the image of the Warhammer old world. I played through until the end of the campaign, feeling so, so about the game. doubly so for a game i really want to like.but dam. ![]()
